How Money is spent

The Refugee Trust employs no staff. Everyone who works for us is a volunteer. All our administrative expenditure is guaranteed. This means that 100% of your donation goes directly to supporting people seeking asylum.

The recipients of the trust have different needs. The majority are homeless, have no access to cooking facilities or washing facilities.

Your money will go directly to them so that they can support themselves, look after their medical needs as well as enabling them to cope with emergencies, attend hearings and meetings with solicitors etc.

Why we need your support

We are currently supporting a number of asylum seekers who are destitute. Due to limited funds, the support we provide is barely enough to keep people fed and clothed. There is a lot more that we could be doing, and that is why we are appealing to you.

Donating to the Refugee Trust, will enable us to continue our work. It is more than food and clothing. It is also knowing someone cares.

The most useful form of donation is by standing order, because this guarantees us a regular income and enables us to plan ahead. If you would like to donate regularly, please complete the standing order form and return it to The Refugee Trust.
